The FEM-rated Hoist Range
Condra’s cranes can be used for hook duties, grabbing, magnet, ladle, bucket or stacking duties, and can be operated manually, electrically, or in combinations thereof.
Typical products include:
- Wire rope hoists and components – hoists and end carriages
- Overhead travelling cranes – single and double-girder
- Portal or semi-portal cranes
- Portal or semi-portal bridge cranes
- Cantilever cranes (pillar, jib and wall)
Overhead cranes are manufactured to specification from some 250 sub-assemblies, the main components being hoists, drives, end carriages, brakes, gearboxes and motors. Condra makes all 250 sub-assemblies.
Hoists are manufactured in a number of standard models suited to most mining, industrial and general applications from 1 to 500 tons. Hooks manufactured to FEM standards are offered in single, double, four, six and eight fall arrangements, with lifting capacities from 1 to 32 tons as ex-stock items. Special hooks up to 150 tons are available on application. Condra also supplies cable loop (festoon) systems and conductor systems, enclosed as well as open wire.
Condra is the sole South African distributor of the Hitachi range of chain hoists. You can now source all your lifting equipment from a single company. The Hitachi range means that Condra can now offer lifting equipment from 250kg to 500 tons in all classifications and configured in either single, dual or variable-speed drive arrangements.
